【辨析】not...any more与not...any longer
①not...any more相当于no more，常用来修饰非延续性动词，表示今后不再重复以前发生的动作，多指数量上不再增加。
eg：She didn't come any more.她不再来了。
②not...any longer相当于no longer，在句中起副词作用，用来修饰延续性动词，指某事从时间上讲以后不会再发生，其时间不再延续。
eg：He isn't a student any longer.他不再是学生了。
as soon as意为“一······就······”，引导时间状语从句。
eg：I will call you as soon as he comes back.他一回来我就给你打电话。
【注意】在含有as soon as，when等引导的时间状语从句的主从复合句中，其主句用一般将来时，从句应用一般现在时表将来。
although连词，意为“虽然；尽管”，相当于though，用来引导让步状语从句。
eg：Although my grandpa is old，he looks very strong and healthy.尽管我爷爷老了，但是他看上去还是很健壮。
