【辨析】among与between
①among可用来表示一个比较的范围(＝one of)，常与最高级连用。

②between一般指“两者之间”；而among用于三个或三个以上的人或物之中，或笼统的一群人或一些物之中，表示“在……中间”。

【辨析】search，search…for
①search作动词时，是个及物动词，意为“在……搜查；搜身”，后面直接跟“被搜的对象”。
eg：Mr. Smith searched every room in the house.史密斯先生搜查了这套房子的所有房间。
②如果表示搜查某一对象的目的是要找什么时，要用search...for，强调有具体的目标。
eg：She searched many shops for Jim's present.她为了吉姆的礼物，搜寻了许多家商店。
regard动词，意为“视作，认为”，后一般接as，不接不定式。
eg：I regard her as a good worker.我认为她是一个好工人。
